Laura Turner Explaining Neck Pain

Find the cause of your pain

The most important thing for anyone that’s experiencing pain is to understand what’s happening. Knowing about your condition and how it is best treated and managed can bring a sense of relief, and with it confidence that can help you to move again.

When you come to an appointment you will be given the opportunity to describe how you feel and what you are experiencing. This helps me to get to know you and develop a treatment and management plan that suits your needs.

Provide treatment that is centred around you

To provide you with the best osteopathy treatment possible I will let you know the most appropriate treatment options so that you can decide what is best for you. You will always be able to discuss any thoughts, goals or fears that you have with me and I will be happy to explore methods of treatment with you and adapt anything as necessary.

I will always work in a way that feels comfortable for you.

Offer personalised advice

I believe that to reduce the risk of further injury or recurrence everyone should be provided with information that can help them to manage their condition at home.

You will be provided with exercises and advice that suit your lifestyle and that you can fit into your day. I also aim to provide you with information that you can draw upon in the future for your personal ongoing self care of your health.

Follow-up

To ensure you are well cared for follow-up appointments may be advised to discuss any changes after your consultation treatment. These appointments ensure that you have everything you need to feel better. At this point, we can decide on the plan that may be the most beneficial to your recovery and to reduce the risk of relapse.

I will be available to help support you if you have any questions about your health and options for treatment at any time.
